We are so excited to be returning with Ferndown Christmas Fayre! Get festive in aid of Ferndown Community Support’s ‘Mission Santa Sacks’, and Community Larder & Food Bank+! Following last year’s resounding success, we return to Ferndown Day Centre to bring you a day of all things Christmas. Join us for craft and games stalls, hot drinks, mulled wine, homemade cake, and hot dogs, raffle, STORYTIME WITH SANTA, face painting, plus much more. We cant wait to see you!

Santa is coming…..!
Make sure you book now to enjoy a magical Storytime and singalong with our very own Santa and his Elves at our Christmas Fayre! Perfect for ages 0-10, come along with your child/ren and enjoy an interactive story read by Santa, and singalong of favourite Christmas songs. And even better, children will each leave with a small goody bag to enjoy.

Food & drink
No visit would be complete without a chance to refresh the palette with some sumptuous homemade cake, washed down with lashings of tea, coffee or, even better HOT CHOCOLATE with marshmallows and cream!
Hot dogs and mulled wine will surely get you in the mood for Christmas too, and will be served in the courtyard.
Savory tooth, sweet tooth, or little teeth – there’s something for all!
Craft Stalls
with 15 craft stalls there’s plenty of variety for everyone to enjoy. We have crafters selling wax melts, crystals, jewellery and homewares, Bodyshop, Christmas decorations, wood items, and wreaths to name a few!
Live Music
We have a stellar festive line up to set the mood this year!
10.45 – 11.15pm – Billy May, classic hits and festive numbers
11.15 – 11.45 – Ferndown First School choir, we are delighted to be joined by the superb and perfectly rehersed Ferndown First School team
1-3pm – Wessex Chorus, singing classic Christmas songs, Wessex Chorus community choir is a non-profit organisation based in Bournemouth. They raise funds for nominated charities through their joyful singing
Games stalls
No Fayre would be complete without a few games stalls to tempt young and old, and inspire a bit of old fashioned nostalgia! We even give you a prize just for having a go! Come and try your hand at Lego Lucky Dip, teddy tombola, guess the weight of the cake, tombola, water or wine and more.
Crafting fun for kids
To keep the little ones busy we also have a FREE colouring competition run by Meyers Estates Ferndown to design your own Christmas poster. The winner will see their design up around Ferndown on the estate agent’s boards throughout the festive season!
We’ve also got badge making to offer! With pre made designs and equipment to design your own, you can make your very own Christmas badge to share just how excited you are! A small charge will be made for this.
Superb raffle!
Our raffles contain some of the best curated prizes (in our humble opinion!). We are curating a wonderful selection from local businesses, all of whom support us and whom we want to support. Come down on the day to buy your strips and be in with a chance of winning. Draw will take place at 3pm.

About ‘Mission Santa Sacks’
Each year since FCS began, we have delivered over 100 Santa Sacks to children and young people in the local area who are struggling. Working with the local schools, we distribute a sack of wrapped gifts for them to enjoy at Christmas. Santa Sacks have previously contained books, stationary, a board game, toys, toiletries, jewelry, hat and scarf, hot chocolate, and sweets. All organised and wrapped by volunteers, it’s no mean feat! We love doing it, it is much needed, and your support at this Fayre will help us deliver again this year. We cater for ages 3 – 17, with age appropriate gifts. The money we have received in the past has meant that we can buy in bulk and achieve significant discounts which means the children and teenagers have more to open. We have costed sacks at £25 each. We are opening this up this year to allow people to buy a small gift if they feel uncomfortable about donating money, or wish to donate money to fund a Santa Sack as well as a gift, such as a selection box, toiletries, or stationary.
