FCS Kids in the Kitchen!

Ideal for families over 4yrs old, our Kids in the Kitchen sessions make and sample delicious food in the Larder & Food Bank+ in Ferndown. Its a great place for all ages to learn and practice new skills and new foods. Mess is essential!!

What happens at a Kids in the Kitchen session?

You will make a snack lunch meal and dessert/bakery, with a chance to sample and take away your makes! All equipment and ingredients are provided, but bring something to take home your creations in please (if there is any!). We make a variety of foods, including pizza, cakes, biscuits, soup, savoury snacks, fishcakes, toad in the hole, pancakes and so much more! We have up to 6 ‘stations’ for families, with the small group size making it suitable for those with SEND needs and closer support.

How can I book?

Kids in the Kitchen is incredibly popular, so do book ASAP to secure your space. Bookings can be made via our FCS Eventbrite page, or see the latest poster and links below. Alternatively CONTACT US for more info or alternative booking

The boring (but important!) bits:

Young people under 16 must attend with an appropriate parent/carer. All FREE thanks to some generous funding and lovely volunteers, so perfect for those on a budget too. Please book your child’s spaces only, no need to book accompanying adults, and limited to a maximum of 1 session each school holiday to allow as many to attend as possible. Please let us know any allergies and additional needs in advance via the booking form, so we can best cater for these. Cant wait to see you at one of our sessions!
