Christmas Trails!

Poor Santa needs your help!  He went shopping in Ferndown and West Moors (looking for Mrs Claus’s Christmas present between you and me), but in his hurry to sneak out before Mrs Claus saw him, he put the wrong coat on.  You see, Mrs Claus is very good at mending and sewing, and Santa is equally good at making holes in his clothes and pockets by stuffing too much in there (and eating too many mince pies!).  Santa in his haste picked up the coat that needed the pockets mending, and now disaster has hit.  All his essential possessions he needs for Christmas have fallen out in the shops around Ferndown, and he needs your help to find them!  You’ll need to visit all the shops that Santa did, and see if you can spot the items that Santa has lost in the windows.  When you’ve found them all and written them down on this sheet, make sure you bring it to the Ferndown Community Larder so we can pass it on to Santa.  For every good young person, or adult (!) who can find the items there will be a small thank you, and, Santa has said that he is so grateful to everyone for helping him, that he will visit one lucky winner who is randomly picked to say a special thank you.

You can pick up instruction sheets and entry forms from any of the participating shops, or from us at Ferndown Community Larder (rear of Ferndown Day Centre, Library Road, BH22 9JP), or download and print here:

Ferndown Trail

West Moors Trail

There are 2 separate trails, one in Ferndown and one in West Moors. You are welcome to do either or both! The trails are available to complete until 22nd December, and Santa will visit the lucky winners on the 23rd December by arrangement. The trails are FREE to take part in, and have been kindly sponsored by Meyers Estates Ferndown. The local shops have put lots of effort into making creative window displays for you, and there will be a best dressed window competition for them too!
