FREE Easter Trail 2025!

Welcome to  our FCS EASTER TRAIL!  This year it takes place on Poor Common, a 15 hectare site situated to South East of Ferndown near The Angel Inn pub.  The name ‘Poor Common’ indicates that, at the time of enclosure sometime in the 19th century, part or all of the site was left open as an area where the Poor of the Parish would have kept the right to collect fuel but not to graze stock.

Follow the trail and answer the questions to be in with a chance of winning a chocolaty hamper thanks to Vantage Accountants!  The trail can be completed at your leisure and the hamper draw closes for entries on Monday 17th April at 11.59pm.  Allow 45mins – 1.5hr to complete. You can download a PDF of the route here:

Part of the trail could be partially muddy so wellies etc could be a good option. Some of the trail involves an area of common grazing for a very small number of cattle, they are people and dog friendly.
