🎅Santa Sacks 2023!
No child should go without a gift at Christmas, yet in our area, without our help, there are children and young people for whom Christmas wont be a happy time. This holiday season, let’s come together to make a difference in the lives of children and young people who need it most. Our Santa Sacks appeal is back, and we need your support to bring smiles to the faces of underprivileged kids in our community. Each year since 2020, we have delivered ‘Santa Sacks’ of wrapped gifts and essentials to East Dorset young people. We do our best to bring magic to Christmas and provide a special and unique surprise, which means even wrapping toothpaste!
Our sacks contain both useful and fun gifts, and we work with local schools, social services and other agencies to identify those in need of support. Last year we delivered 130 sacks to children across East Dorset. An example sack contains: hat, scarf, sweet treats, books, stationary, toiletries, and of course games and toys. Lets make 2023 our best year yet!

Donate £
You can donate a Santa Sack via our website, cheque, BACS or in the Larder. Money helps us maximise the contents as we can buy wholesale, for instance we can get Lego sets for £2.50 that retail at £8.99.
Donate Gifts:
Help us fill Santa’s sacks with toys, books, and essentials that will light up a young person’s world. Donations can be dropped to Ferndown Community Larder, Tesco’s Ferndown, Coop FuneralCare Ferndown, Fernhill Care Home, Parley Place Care Home. We need the following:

🧤 Hats, scarves and gloves
🎳 Outdoor games
🎬 Cinema voucher
🍬 Sweet treats (or pringles – these are very popular with teenagers!)
